SCENIC ROADTRIP FROM LANTAPAN TO TALAKAG, BUKIDNON

The newly functional road directly linking Lantapan and Talakag, Bukidnon has been making buzz since its opening few years back. This diversion road officially starts from Aglayan, Malaybalay City to Tikalaan, Talakag. Aside from smooth traffic, shorter travel time and SAFETY, interesting stopovers and breathtaking scenery make a very memorable roadtrip making every passerby eager to come back.

Here are TOP reasons why I so love road tripping from Lantapan to Talakag:

1. CAFE SA BUKID
Officially known as Full View Farm Products, Cafe sa Bukid is literally a cafe in a hut offering a rustic yet artistic place, great snack foods (jam and egg sandwich, shakes and brewed coffee) fresh fruits & vegetables and processed foods & pasalubong items. With its effort to go environment friendly, Cafe sa Bukid uses wooden spoon & fork and produces its own bamboo straw.

 2. VIEW OF KITANGLAD and KALATUNGAN RANGES
Nature lovers would surely love a smooth ride on a concrete road beneath two of the major mountain ranges in the country.

3. 24-SEVEN STOP OVER
Here, you can rest your tired butt while sipping local brewed coffee or taking snacks. This place is also a perfect site to view the wonderful mountain ranges on its both sides.

4. VEGETABLE FARMS
Vegetables are the major crops in this cool area so vegetables dominate almost the whole stretch of the road. The beautiful scenic farms are comparable to those in Benguet and Mountain Province.

5. BREATHTAKING SCENERY
I couldn't close my eyes to sleep while passing through this road. Every sight is breathtaking, stunning and so relaxing. Wow!

6. OCCASIONAL SEA OF CLOUDS
If you bump on a fair morning, luck will let you witness lovely fogs settling below grandiose mountains.

  1. Went here for a great all-you-can-eat buffet and they held nothing back. The food, service and mostly the staff from Chicago event venues were truly amazing. I was starving and am one of those voracious "sampling" type eaters who has to try everything in a buffet, and I couldn't make it!
