    1. hi, ken! thanks for dropping by. mt. capistrano is also good for beginners. it is much easier than mt. palaopao. it can be accessed right from kisolon terminal.
how i'd love to be with your team too. sadly, your schedule falls on a weekday. anyway, the trail is real easy that a guide is no longer needed. just ask from locals.
i may be contacted at "ABOUT ME" page.

    1. hi, floryville. most spots ani nga post dili pa kaayo commercialized that's why for me, kini sila maoy naa sa top dayhikes. ang uban wala gani entrance fee, ag uban naay minimal lang kaayo at P10.00. wala rabay guide sa cedar because of its easy trail pero pwede ka maghire ug bata sa local for company. same sa mt. palaopao, pwede ka ask sa residents sa jump-off sa sitio palaopao. sa cinchona, pananghid lang sa mga official sa brgy. kaatuan, hangyo dayon ug guide. sa kibalabag, naay ako kaila didto nga makatabang sa imo trek---NANCY ODINO:09758807322. sa mt. capistrano, wala pa gihapon guide, hangyo lang bata mag-uban sa trail. same sa uban spots nga naa lang duol sa highway like bluewaters and musuan peak.

    1. thanks for reading. Only CEDAR and Mt. Palaopao are close to each other and can be done in a day if your muscles are not yet sore from climbing. Bluewaters and Musuan Peak can also be compressed in a day since they are both located just along the highway. Others can be done each in a day. All of these are easily accessible.

  15. Hi, Sir Tupe. My group will be climbing Mt. Kalatungan on second week of October, coming from Manila flying to Davao then Pangantucan. Having done Pulag, Apo, and D2K dayhike, Kalatungan will complete my top 5 bucket list. I will be coming a day earlier than the rest of the group.

If I have one day (Oct. 13) to do dayhike, spelunking, and/or visit waterfalls, could you recommend an itinerary for me that will maximize the places that I can explore considering the travel time via public transport? I will take the first bus trip from Davao, and plans to stay in Pangantucan travel lodge after the 1-day activities. I'm an average hiker and I used to be an active blogger (noelizm.blogspot).

Many thanks for your very helpful blog about Bukidnon outdoor attractions!

    1. Hi, Sir Noel. Thank you for dropping by. If you're from davao, you can pass by BLUEWATER CAVE in San Jose, Quezon. It's around 3 hours from Davao. This is just along the highway right at the boundary between Quezon and Maramag. You can leave your belongings at the registration kiosk. You may proceed to Maramag, then Pangantucan after the trek. Enjoy...

    2. Thanks for your reply Sir Tupe. I saw the Blue Water Cave on Google map where I suppose I should alight at the bridge boundary around 8 am.

Afterwards, I think I still have enough time to hike Mt. Musuan, then see the old Pulangui River as well. Would you know the last bus/jeepney trip from Maramag to Pangantucan?

      Noel

      Delete
    3. yes, you can still trek both. the last bus bound for wao (passing by pangantucan)passes Maramag at 8:00 pm. lots of vans also travel from maramag going to wao even by nighttime
